What I did
I conducted user research, worked with stakeholders, developed the concept and worked end-to-end providing detailed handover files for our development and content team

Since 2011, Tate has produced hundreds of videos, documenting artists, collectives, and exhibitions from around the world. In partnership with Bloomberg, we set out to create a dedicated platform that would not only archive this vast catalogue, but make it accessible, engaging, and distinctly Tate.

I led the project end to end, from research and product definition to interface design and delivery. Through surveys and interviews, I identified what audiences valued most: curated guidance, emotional connection, and a sense of discovery, without the overwhelm of typical streaming platforms.

The result is a clean, modern interface where dark mode enhances focus and expert-led curation shapes how content is organised. Videos are grouped into thematic series by art specialists, with light AI support, ensuring the platform remains both intuitive and uniquely human.

The platform also connects seamlessly to exhibitions, the collection, and Tate Members' accounts, offering exclusive content and a new way to experience Tate beyond the gallery walls.
