John Lobb has been producing some of the world’s finest footwear for over 150 years.
Ever since its inception, it has trodden an innovative path, creating versatile and timeless shoes that celebrate craftsmanship and beautiful design.
For their online site, we were asked to analyse their product pages and to come up with a completely new design that would bring their traditional shoes to the e-commerce world of today.
The new design provides a spotless experience on all devices, with a strong focus on imagery and a clean use of typography, making sure to improve conversion, as well as product perception.
I created a modular system that allows the brand to have different levels of content complexity according to each product.
Another addition was a brand new editorial section that showcases the product’s origins and craft.
